Dr. Hiya Boro (MBBS, MD Medicine, DM Endocrinology) is currently working as Consultant in the Department of Endocrinology, Aadhar Hospital, Hisar, Haryana. She started her medical education in 2006 when she started pursuing her MBBS from Gauhati Medical College, Guwahati, Assam. She completed her MBBS in 2011 winning the Gauhati University Best Graduate Award, University gold medal, and Gold medal for the highest marks in Medicine. She then pursued her MD in Internal Medicine from 2012 till 2015 from Lady Harding Medical College, New Delhi. She did pre-doctorate residency in Endocrinology at VMMC and Safdarjung Hospital in 2016.
She then pursued her Doctorate in Endocrinology (DM) from the prestigious All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi from January, 2017 to December, 2019.
Previously, she worked as consultant in the Asian Institute of Medical Sciences, Faridabad.
Dr. Hiya has expertise in treating all hormonal problems, including diabetes, metabolic syndrome, thyroid disorders, metabolic syndrome, pubertal disorders, PCOS, Cushing’s syndrome, Acromegaly, young onset hypertension, disorders of sexual development, sexual disorders and others.
