I completed my MBBS and MS in General Surgery from a prestigious institute, where my postgraduate unit also specialized in surgical oncology. During this time, I gained extensive experience in onco-surgical procedures and conducted my thesis on esophagus carcinoma.
After completing my MS, I worked as a Senior Resident for over three years, further developing my surgical skills. I then pursued a career in surgical oncology at Tata Memorial Cancer Centre, Varanasi, where I served as a Senior Resident. Following this, I joined their fellowship program in surgical oncology, which lasted for two years. During my time at Tata Memorial, I was actively involved in various disease-specific management groups, including Breast, Gynec-onco, Uro-onco, Gastrointestinal, Hepatopancreatobiliary, Bone and Soft Tissue, Head and Neck Onco, and Thoracic Oncology.
I also have considerable experience in minimal access oncological surgeries and am particularly interested in complex and challenging resectable tumors.
