SIMS Black Professorship Program
DNB Resident Wins Second Prize at National Poster Presentation
Aadhar Health Institute, Hisar, is proud to announce a significant academic achievement by one of its DNB Obstetrics and Gynaecology residents, reflecting the institute’s strong commitment to excellence in postgraduate medical education.
Our team actively participated in the SIMS Black Professorship Program, organised by the Royal College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists (RCOG) – India North in collaboration with the Association of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists, Panchkula. The academic event was held on 30th November 2025 at Panchkula, Haryana, and brought together leading clinicians, academicians, and postgraduate trainees from across the region.
Representing Aadhar Health Institute, Dr. Nupur, a second-year DNB Obstetrics & Gynaecology resident, presented a poster on the clinically significant topic:
“Saving Mothers, Saving Pregnancies: Surgical Management of Acute Pelvic Emergencies in High-Risk Gestation.”
The presentation highlighted evidence-based surgical approaches, timely decision-making, and current best practices in the management of life-threatening obstetric emergencies, demonstrating both strong clinical insight and academic rigour.
The poster was awarded Second Prize in recognition of its clarity, scientific accuracy, relevance to maternal care, and impactful presentation. This achievement underscores the robust academic environment, dedicated mentorship, and extensive hands-on clinical exposure provided through the DNB training programme at Aadhar Health Institute.
Such accomplishments reflect the institute’s ongoing commitment to nurturing competent specialists who actively engage in research, academic discourse, and national-level scientific forums. Aadhar Health Institute continues to encourage its residents to pursue scholarly excellence alongside compassionate, high-quality patient care.
We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Dr. Nupur and the entire Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology for this proud academic milestone, reinforcing our institute’s reputation as a centre of learning, innovation, and excellence in women’s healthcare..jpg)
