General Guidelines

The medical tests are conducted as per the immigration protocols of Australia and New Zealand. Additional tests may be requested based on your medical history or embassy instructions.

Before You Visit:
  • Bring your original passport with two photocopies
  • Carry all previous and current medical records, prescriptions, and vaccination documents
  • Vaccination record is mandatory for children below 14 years (including birth vaccinations)
  • If you use spectacles or contact lenses, please bring them
  • No fasting is required; you may eat before the test
  • Avoid wearing jewellery or carrying valuables
  • Prior appointment is mandatory to avoid waiting time
  • The medical process may take approximately 3 to 4 hours
  • Pregnant applicants may either undergo a chest X-ray with double lead shielding or defer the examination until after delivery

Country-Specific Requirements

Australia
  • Original passport
  • Two photocopies of the first and last page of the passport
  • HAP ID (mandatory for all types of visas)
  • Two photocopies of the final COVID-19 vaccination certificate
  • Medical history records (mandatory in case of any past surgery or tuberculosis)
  • Female applicants should schedule the test after completion of the menstrual cycle
New Zealand
  • Original passport
  • Two photocopies of the first and last page of the passport
  • Embassy letter (NZHR), if available (optional)
  • Two photocopies of the final COVID-19 vaccination certificate
  • Medical history records (mandatory in case of any past surgery or tuberculosis)
